Salary Osborne Richard have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and well-rounded Senior DM Planning Officer to join our local authority client for an contract role.
Our client needs someone who is capable of managing a range of applications from minors to majors. Typical major applications would be redevelopment of sites for schemes of perhaps 1-10 houses or 20-100 flats, or large commercial warehouses/manufacturing buildings. A typical caseload will be between 30-40 applications.
Our client is looking for a well established Local Authority Planning Officer who is able to demonstrate significant experience managing a caseload; specifically we need someone with major apps experience. You will manage your own caseload and whilst not overly demanding numbers wise, due to the level of involvement you have on each case, the role will require the ability to effectively deal with applications at all stages.
Our client is offering a 6 month contract and an excellent rate of £55/hr Umbrella, which reflects the calibre of candidate they are looking to appoint.
This is a hybrid role and you will need to go into the office once a week. Our client is based in West Sussex.
