Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Town Plannerto join a leading independent planning consultancy in the South-East of England!
My clients well established and dynamic team have been securing planning permissions for everything from small scale extensions to large scale residential developments and major regeneration projects for clients in both the public and Private Sectors! The current team is spread across 3 locations across the South-East of England, and my client is seeking an addition to their Crawley office.
Duties of this role will include a full range of planning services, preparing and submit planning applications and chase as required, providing regular updates to partners, directors, and the wider team. You will consult with external and internal stakeholders, research and visit sites when required, and help prepare Fee letters with information.
We are seeking applications from candidates with extensive experience in the planning sector, either public or private, with the ability to work independently and run day-to-day operations with Director oversight.
Candidate Requirements
- you will ideally hold an RTPI accredited Town Planning degree and are MRTPI chartered, with a determination to keep up to date with changes in UK planning system.
- a minimum of 2-3 years planning experience required, ideally in both Private and Public sectors.
- you should have an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the planning process from inception to completion.
- experience in preparing complex planning applications.
- be able to offer planning guidance to clients and internal consultants within the company.
