SalaryMCS Group are delighted to be working with a well-known public body who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Planning Officer to join their team in the Economic Development & Planning department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Planning Officers and Planning Assistants, ensuring the provision of a high-quality, efficient, and effective Planning Service.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A degree in a recognised planning qualification or equivalent, with a minimum of three years’ experience in a Development Management role.
- Alternatively, an HNC/HND/BTEC Higher National Certificate in Planning, Surveying and Cartography or equivalent, with a minimum of four years’ experience in a Development Management role.
- At least two years’ experience managing staff in accordance with performance management principles and personal development.
- Membership in the Royal Town Planning Institute/Irish Planning Institute or equivalent.
