As a result of this growth, we are seeking a Senior Planning & Performance Analyst to join our operations department.
You will play an important role in determining the resource and training academy capacity needed to meet the changing needs of our customers. Understanding how the business operates is essential, as you will use this knowledge to develop short and long-term business plans, with the insights used to forecast future capacity requirements. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be used to collate, maintain, and analyse performance data which will be used to direct planning activities, ensuring that targets are met, and operational efficiency is optimised. By swiftly identifying performance gaps, you will liaise and notify internal stakeholders and aid in rectification planning, ensuring that we stay on track.
This is a permanent full-time role, offering a salary of £31,482 per annum. With a 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday schedule, you'll enjoy work-life balance working on a hybrid basis, whereby a minimum of 2 days per week will be spent working from the office in Wigan.
What we are looking for
- We are looking for candidates who possess experience in capacity planning and resource forecasting, with a good understanding of capacity and forecast planning models, and preferably, familiarity with the utilities or field services industries.
- Additionally, excellent mathematical competency is required, as well as computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and email. Advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting abilities is essential, and it would be desirable for candidates to have the ability to extract data from a database using SQL and transform it into insights using visualization tools like PowerBI.
