Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.

Reporting to the Group Portfolio Delivery Manager, the Senior PMO Analyst is responsible for delivering PMO assurance in the form of independent health-checks which will be provided to the Project Sponsor, Business Lead and Steerco. The role is responsible for reviewing adherence to the change framework and the quality of the outputs produced by the Programme or Project with any recommended areas for improvement. The role will also identify any lessons learnt on framework or governance, ensure they are captured and fed into a review process plus they will assist on the interdependency identification between each Project and Programme.
You will be expected to:
- Manage or facilitate the independent quality assurance process for programmes and projects (co-ordinating with Internal Audit and 3rd party assurance providers as required).
- Implement guidelines, procedures and templates to collect and maintain consistent data to enable effective project and programme health-checks
- Coordinate information about how projects and programmes run the standard project or programme method (Change Framework), their progress and problems, to distil good practice and note any factors that unnecessarily adversely affect the duration or outcome of a project / programme so they can be avoided in the future.
- Provide a centre of expertise and develop consistent standards and procedures, including templates, and guidance in their tailoring across a range of programme or project sizes
- Provide a focal point to promote the use and benefits of the programme or project method, giving a consistent common approach, developing collaborative learning forums.
- Build and maintain a repository of good examples of programme and project documentation, e.g. project initiation documentation (PID), product descriptions, end stage assessments, programme / project closure reports, benefits profiles, stakeholder maps, quality management strategy, risk management strategy.
