Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new product platforms from initial brief through engineering builds.
- Support the Senior Product Management team with technical investigations, project planning, resourcing, and feasibility work.
- Design for Mass Production
- Manage engineering project lifecycle, including defining work packages, day-to-day communication, milestone delivery, and completion of engineering builds.
- Guide, develop, and mentor junior team members.
- Manage projects through the gate process to production.
- Lead prototyping and development testing in our test facilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across the UK and countries across the world.
- Contribute to design for manufacture, assembly, compliance, storage, transportation, usability, and servicing.
- Lead design reviews and complete necessary actions.
- Occasionally travel outside of the UK.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading teams and developing products through the design cycle.
- Extensive knowledge of plastic injection molding.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
