Senior Product Manager

What's the Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Product Manager who will play a key role within the Daft Product team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a central hub within Distilled for a lot of critical information about our products, market, competitors, customers, prospects and key industry analysts.

You will report directly to the Head of Product for Daft, supported by the Product team and Engineering Managers.

What will I be doing

• Understanding the long-term vision of the business and helping to craft strategies to achieve the key results for the objectives you own.

• Creating and challenging product visions for complex longer term problems and defining the path to get there.

• Systematically discovering problems, utilising quantitative, qualitative and industry analysis. Setting the context for the problems you're solving to ensure everyone is aligned.

• Pairing with Engineering Managers, to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders and operational teams to ensure that the teams have the information and support they need to bring products to market.

• Delivering large, high impact features and products, often working across multiple teams and dependencies.

• Managing senior stakeholders through clear concise communication throughout a delivery lifecycle.

• Identifying, analysing and sharing key performance indicators and results from successful product releases

What skills and experience do I need

• 8+ years experience in a Product role

• Experience working in an Agile environment, delivering features across range of platforms

• Experience delivering app-specific features or working with app development teams preferable, but not essential

• Great communication skills - both verbal and written

• Influencing: you feel comfortable in talking about "what" and "why" with the business and the "how" with delivery teams

• Prioritise what matters most to achieve our goals and objectives behind the product

• A strong level of empathy for users pain points and ways to alleviate them

• Driven by data, and experience utilising data to make good product decisions

• A highly collaborative nature, with an ability to listen to and respect multiple perspectives to achieve consensus with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
