This role can be based in Edinburgh, Leeds, or Dublin.
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Consultant, you will:
- Fulfill programme/project/change lead roles on assigned commissions.
- Provide strategic and tailored expertise area advice to clients.
- Analyse data or situations and communicate information efficiently and effectively.
- Manage multiple commissions, delivering robust technical outputs, performance reporting, and targeted commercial returns.
- Manage internal and external resources on commissions, including resource planning, technical direction, and quality checking.
- Support business development activities, including client interface, leveraging existing opportunities, producing proposals, and professional networking.
Person Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree qualification recognised within the UK & Ireland (or equivalent work experience/apprenticeship programme).
- Have a minimum of five years’ post qualification experience in a relevant field of expertise.
- Hold a formal project professional qualification (such as APM PMQ, PRINCE 2 or PMP) and/or an accreditation in change management.
- Have experience of managing or shaping the delivery of large-scale projects and/or programmes ideally within public transport or energy infrastructure environments.
- Be flexible in your approach and be willing to travel as business need arises.
- Be committed to personal and team continuous development & improvement.
