The Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Lab (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/tia/about/) team at the Department of Computer Science is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to provide operational management in support of their research projects ensuring that agreed outcomes are achieved efficiently, within budget and to appropriate timescales. This includes managing both the internal and external stakeholders in the projects, developing and implementing an effective communications strategy for the defined projects and also monitoring and reporting on project activities as required.

We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified professional to take charge of proactively managing the TIA Lab’s portfolio of grants.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a role involving project management responsibilities, excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to details and the ability to master new areas of knowledge.
The Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Centre, based in the Department of Computer Science department at the University of Warwick, was established to tackle some of the major challenges in systematic data-driven mining of an increasing deluge of cancer image data as well as the associated clinical and genomic data. Our ultimate aim is to develop cutting-edge AI technologies to assist pathologists in diagnosing cancer more efficiently and empower the oncologists with reliable information to select optimal personalised treatment for cancer patients.
