Job Title - Senior Project Manager

Location - Maidstone (Hybrid)

Salary - £65k - £70k

We have a new exciting opportunity for a qualified construction professional with a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification managing construction projects at a senior level in one or more of the following sectors;

-Retail

-Commercial

-Distribution

-Residential (Mixed Use sectors)

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent knowledge of the development process from inception of the project through to the successful delivery of the construction phase.

Key Requirements

-A track record for managing and successfully delivering large scale construction projects and/or high value rollout

investment programmes.

-Excellent technical knowledge, possessing the core skills and knowledge expected of a senior-level project

manager and necessary to manage and lead large scale construction projects successfully.

-A Self-motivated and a highly committed construction professional with the high operating standards

expected of a competent and professional Senior Project Manager.

-A track record for working successfully with clients at all levels.

-The experience and ability to build client accounts based on trust and confidence in delivery.

-Must be able to demonstrate commitment, energy, drive and the ability to work under pressure on multiple

projects / client accounts.

-Demonstrates a good understanding and use of key PM management tools including;

-- Has an excellent knowledge of JCT and similar forms of building contracts and demonstrates competence

and professionalism in the implementation of the role of the EA / CA.

-Is able to interrogate and monitor project costs, input in to VE exercises and take necessary steps to realise

opportunities and mitigate cost overspend risks.

-Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and is able to prepare high quality reports.

-Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.

-Is able to work to and meet agreed deadlines, plans accordingly and communicates progress effectively.

-Strong influencing and negotiating skills.

-Is able to work with Clients at all levels and establish long term relationships built on trust and confidence in

-Checks the company’s project appointment details and ensures the services to be provided are fully

understood and are executed in line with such agreements and as agreed with the line / account manager.

-Excellent leadership skills generating clear direction, confidence and clarity of project goals and objectives.

-Conducts business with the integrity and professionalism expected of one of the Senior Project management

-A demonstrated desire to succeed and increase knowledge and expertise.

-Is prepared to work as team for the common good of the company and project assignments.
