Senior Project Manager
Location: West Sussex / Bristol / Kent

The Client:
Our client is a well-established construction consultancy, offering design and management services across the Built Environment.
The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects from inception through feasibility study to tendering, on-site, handover, and post-completion phases.
Please do not apply if you do not have at least 4 years of experience working in the UK.
Responsibilities:
-Work independently, with support from a junior Project Manager on larger projects and overall guidance from the PM team leader and office partners.
-Manage projects within Project Management frameworks for universities, local authorities, and Ministry of Justices Delivery Partner appointment.
-Serve as a client-side project leader, overseeing multiple projects.
-Prepare project briefs and appointment documents in collaboration with key stakeholders.
-Monitor consultant fees, manage project risks, and update project programs.
-Compile and present Business Cases to Boards and implement the Government Soft Landings approach to Handover.
-Conduct BREEAM assessments on all Government-funded schemes.
-Handle typical projects ranging from £1M to £10M and participate in delivering programs of capital works with project values up to £130M.
Requirements:
-Previously worked as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
-At least 4 years of experience in successfully delivering capital projects.
-Ideally possess Chartered status with some client-side experience.
-Comprehensive understanding of project management processes.
-Skilled in IT, including Word, Excel, email, and a competent user of MS Projects.
-Experience of Custodial, Defence or Education Sector projects (preferred)
