As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a Research Culture project funded by Wellcome Trust, working with a range of key people across a research-focused team across the university. You will ensure a professional approach at all times, resulting in a successful project that is delivered on schedule and within budget. You are a capable Senior Project Manager, adept at planning, risk management, dependency management, resource planning and engagement with a wide range of people. You have the confidence to challenge and identify appropriate tracking and evaluation activities to ensure the project delivers. You can demonstrate your experience of working in delivery-focused environments, promoting good practice and striving for continuous improvement. Your background will ideally include experience managing projects and complex change activities with a sound understanding of project management methodologies and techniques. You will possess excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to motivate teams. You will be an effective communicator, able to network and build relationships, and have experience influencing and negotiating to achieve project goals. Don’t meet every single requirement? The post is offered on a Fixed term contract until 30 April 2026. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 25 hours per week).
