What is the Opportunity?
Responsible for end-to-end full project life cycle delivery and ownership of assigned strategic initiatives, including those focused on RBC and subsidiary integrations. Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
You will manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives for Global Cybersecurity at RBC. This role develops the detailed work packages, schedules, budgets, identifies the necessary resources and provides regular updates and communications to stakeholders/sponsors.
You will also oversee and manage each project deliverable including vendor-related deliverables for quality and completion.
What will you do?
- Deliver a fully articulated and committed project plan showing the steps needed to close key and strategic audit findings related to IAM processes
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more initiative(s) simultaneously
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
- Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, executive sponsor(s), and key stakeholders
- Deliver appropriate and effective management/executive level communication
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Extensive progressive IT project-related experience (including cybersecurity experience)
- Knowledge of Enterprise IAM (EIAM) processes that govern access management throughout the lifecycle of user access (e.g., role-based access models, user access provisioning, user access deprovisioning, user access attestations, privileged access management, user authentication)
- Excellent and diverse experience in project delivery methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
- Strong leadership, communication, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions, etc.
Nice-to-have:
- Undergraduate degree Business/ IT / Engineering (preferred)
- PMP, CISSP certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience managing projects in the IT Risk/Security space
