The Fairtrade Foundation is seeking a Senior Executive Business Manager to play a critical role across Fairtrade Foundation. This includes providing full executive support to the CEO, and broader secretarial support to the Board of Trustees. You will also have full responsibility for company secretary duties.

The Senior Executive Business Manager will be a core role within the Strategy and Planning team, a small, talented group responsible for strategic planning and implementation, design and project management of critical strategic initiatives and the delivery of organisational governance ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will need to be an exceptional relationship builder at all levels of an organisation, a self-starter who thrives on autonomous working, highly organised and have meticulous attention to detail. You will be experienced at business partnering at CEO level and adept at providing active and efficient support across the CEO's diary, inbox and general portfolio of work.

You will be both a hands-on ‘do-er’ as well have the capability to stitch together strategic consequences of the activities within your remit.

This is a diverse and varied role which will operate in a fast-paced environment where being solution-focused is a pre-requisite.

We are excited to meet passionate and enthusiastic candidates who share our vision for a better world. If that sounds like you, then come and join our movement for change.

Fairtrade changes the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for farmers and workers around the world.

Globally, across all Fairtrade members, we share a vision of a world in which all farmers and workers can enjoy secure and sustainable livelihoods, fulfil their potential and decide on their future. To achieve this we connect disadvantaged farmers and workers with consumers, promote fairer trading conditions, and empower farmers and workers to combat poverty, strengthen their position and take more control of their lives.

Fairtrade is a global movement with a strong and active presence in the UK, represented by the Fairtrade Foundation. Farmers and workers have a strong voice at every level of Fairtrade, from how they invest in and run their local organisations to having an equal say in Fairtrade’s global decision-making.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic candidates who share our vision for a better world, if that sounds like you, then come and join our movement for change.

The Fairtrade Foundation is an equal opportunities employer, offers flexible working and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with ethnically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQ+ candidates and from candidates with disabilities, because we would like to increase the representation of these groups at this level.
