RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic well established large logistics company based in Manchester. This role has been created to manage and oversee the transactional department. You will oversee a team of 3 transaction staff and report back to the Finance Manager.

The Role
- Overseeing and managing the Purchase Ledger function
- Processing, raising and sending out supplier invoices
- Processing payments
- Petty cash and expenses
- Matching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end processes, posting accruals and prepayments
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Overseeing and managing a team of two
The Person
- AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
- Purchase Ledger experience within an accounts role
- Experience within leading a small accounts team/people management skills
- Understanding of or previously worked within a logistics business would be an advantage
