Senior Quality Engineer, Swadlincote£55,000 + benefits (37.5 hours weekly)
Senior Quality Engineer required by a plastic manufacturing company supplying to the automotive industry, with a focus on the delivery of sustainable mobility solutions and services, including the development of alternative energy solutions. Driven by their industry-leading position, they are committed to investing in, designing, and delivering these innovative opportunities.
As Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the Lab, coordinating the injection and paint quality activities, supporting new launches and engineering changes, Sils PPM, audits, and ensuring consolidation of plant figures for weekly and monthly end reports. You’ll also actively progress internal issues, ensuring involvement with plant manufacturing teams and liaising where required with internal and external customers.

About you:
Suitably qualified in an engineering topic (degree/ HNC/ HND/ ONC)Understanding of IATF standardsExperience with People ManagementExperience with project management techniques – timing, budget control, product quality.Understanding of product/process documentation (e.g., control plans)Experience with problem-solving methodology (e.g., 8D)Strong understanding of Quality tools (e.g., FMEA, MSA, LSA, AAR, SPC, etc.)
