Senior Quantity Surveyor

Due to a sharp upturn in work we currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a small commercial team on a long term highway infrastructure maintenance contract.

Location: Co Durham

Salary: £60,000 – 65,000 + Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Corporate Benefits

The nature of the work undertaken on the contract is primarily “high volume, low cost” schemes, working from a schedule of rates.

Skills & Experience:

· A degree or other formal qualification in Quantity Surveying

· Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads

· Able to carry out accurate site measurements

· Good at developing sound client relationships

· Reasonable computer skills, particularly Excel spreadsheets
