Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of water industry projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing costs, contracts, and procurement processes, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective execution of our projects.

Responsibilities include

• Collaborate with project teams to develop and manage project budgets.
• Conduct accurate cost forecasting and risk assessment.
• Oversee procurement activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide expert advice on cost-saving opportunities and value engineering.
• Prepare and evaluate payment applications and invoices.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance, making recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in dispute resolution and contract administration.
• Mentor and guide junior Quantity Surveyors as needed.

Desireable

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• RICS or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
