We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our vibrant team in the heart of London.
As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will lead and manage all regulatory submissions for the Bank, overseeing reports such as COREP, FINREP, Pillar3, BoE statistical returns, and Internal MI. As a Regulatory Reporting expert, you will stay updated on new requirements, conduct impact analyses, and coordinate system and process changes. Collaboration with various departments is crucial, particularly with Financial Reporting, Treasury/ALM, Risk, and IT. You will establish and monitor a robust governance and control regime, ensuring documentation of interpretations and assumptions. Your responsibilities also include maintaining policy documents, preparing FCA/PRA/BoE reports accurately and on time, and ensuring consistency in reporting with the financial accounting team. You will oversee the calculation and reporting of core regulatory metrics, prepare the annual Pillar 3 disclosure report, and align ILAAP, ICAAP, and RRP documents with Regulatory Reporting.
Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager Requirements:
* Graduate in Accounting or Finance.
* Qualified Accountant preferable
* Ideally minimum 8-10 years' experience in a Regulatory Reporting role, preferably in a small/ mid-tier bank.
* Sound working knowledge of UK Liquidity and Capital requirements with evidence of actual preparation of returns under this regime. Returns to be considered includes but is not limited to COREP, LIQREP and FINREP.
* Knowledge of the UK regulatory framework including requirements in the FCA & PRA Handbook
* Understanding of Basel III (CRR/CRDIV) requirements including transitional arrangements
* Experience of working with manual (Excel) production of Regulatory Reporting returns.
* Intermediate user of MS Access
* Advanced user of MS Excel
* Project Implementation skills
* A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
* Strong communication, interpersonal, team working and organisational skills.
* Good report writing skills.
* Highly numerate and analytical with ability to interpret statistical information.
* Proactive and ability to think practically and translate concepts into effective processes.
* Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables
* Any additional activities deemed necessary to facilitate the successful completion of the department objectives.
