Are you a care professional with a passion for guiding and supporting children with learning difficulties and complex healthcare needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a leadership role as a Senior Residential Care Worker at our wonderful Children’s Home.
About Us:
At our Children's Home, we provide unparalleled care to disabled children with severe learning disabilities and/or complex physical health needs, potentially presenting negative behaviour which challenges. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers (RCCWs) alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager. Together, we work to ensure each child receives the individualised care and attention they deserve.
Your Role:
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support to RCCWs in delivering exceptional care to the children.
- Collaborate closely with the management team to develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the children's overall well-being.
- Facilitate training sessions and mentorship programs to empower team members and foster professional growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children’s home, ensuring all activities and routines are conducted with the utmost care and professionalism.
- Provide management support on alternate weekends.

Working With Us:
- Operate on a 24-hour shift pattern with rotas available six weeks in advance.
- Be part of a team that works a range of shifts, including days, weekends, evenings, sleep-ins, celebrations, and bank holidays.
