As a Senior Resource Manager at Sky Creative, you’ll provide leadership and guidance for Resource Managers & juniors. You’ll support the strategic goals of the agency in delivering work in the most effective way, focussing on new ways of working, centralising resources and driving deeper collaboration with other departments.
What you’ll do:
Report to the Head of Resource Management, supporting with driving the new vision for the resource team.
Line management & mentorship of a team of Resource Managers and junior Resource Managers.
Leading in implementing central processes & aligning ways of working across the team.
Proactively partner with other departments on improving ways of working & resource forward planning.
Work with data to provide cohesive business narratives that enable decision making.
Accountable for resource allocations & forward planning of resource based on a scope of work, including clear comms on timeframes, deadlines & milestones including regular updates to project leads on progress.
Accountable for monitoring freelance spend across agreed resource budgets & reporting back to the business. Accountable for curating central freelance black book across the agency.
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in managing & mentoring a team, with a team player attitude.
Experience in working with workflow tools & systems that support automation in reporting to reduce manual tracking.
Previous experience project managing or resourcing within an agency, preferably within a production environment, with understanding of core creative roles & skillsets.
Credibility in the creative environment & deep understanding of the creative process.
Highly organised, easily able to demonstrate successful multi-tasking. Positive can-do attitude, helpful and approachable, with a flexible and pro-active approach
Proficient excel skills are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil information into simple narratives.
Ability to foster strong relationships internally and externally, to influence & drive change. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/calmly under pressure.
