We are currently looking for a fantastic Senior Resourcing Officer to join a busy, dynamic department, responsible for meeting PGL’s staffing requirements.

It is crucial to ensure that PGL can attract, retain and develop staff across all departments. The Senior Resourcing Officer is responsible for the full range of recruitment, from vetting through to offer, ensuring our guests continue to receive the experience they expect at PGL.

Reporting to the Resourcing Team Leader, the successful applicant will recruit appropriately skilled and qualified Head Office and Leadership / Management Operational staff at the times and in the quantities requested by the Hiring Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, efficient recruiter who works well under pressure, has excellent communication skills and has a fine attention to detail. You will bring with you experience recruiting specialist roles or high volume vacancies, confident in proactively searching for suitable applicants and advising hiring managers on appropriate selection approach. Previous supervisory experience would be a bonus but not essential. 

THE ROLE

  • Supervision of a Resourcing Officer
  •  Assessment and vetting of new and returning applicants
  • Working closely with General Managers and centre People & Culture teams to discuss staffing requirements
  •  Using relevant reports to ensure that staffing levels are achieved
  • Conducting interviews to select the strongest candidates, making sure that they are placed in the most suitable role
  • Proactive communication with candidates to ensure they have all the information that they require and that they have given us all the details that we need prior to them starting in their new role
  • Contracting of successful candidates

As Senior Resourcing Officer, you are responsible for ensuring that new applicants receive a positive experience from enquiry to interview, to arrival and beyond. As well as recruiting new staff, attending open days and exhibitions, you will also be responsible for communicating to and placing previous centre staff as well as regularly visiting centres.
