This is a UK based contract and as such, you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Evidence of your Right to Work will be checked prior to interview.

If you have experience in purchasing, retail, or online trading this is a tremendous opportunity to use your skills to save the world we live in. At WWF, our mission is to create a world where people and nature can thrive. To achieve this, we are fighting to prevent further environmental degradation and restore the natural environment. You too can be part of the fight by joining us as Senior Retail & Licensing Manager and generate vital income by bringing the WWF brand to life through our retail product offering.

As Senior Retail & Licensing Manager, you will manage the day-to-day running of our online shop as well as lead on product development and retail and licensing opportunities. We will look to you to help achieve retail and licensing objectives and income targets by researching, identifying and engaging suppliers, artists, manufacturers, designers and licensees to produce ‘must have’ products. At the manager of a small team, you will deliver new products, build relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders and ensure that customer service is first class and SLAs are met. You will also collaborate with colleagues to make sure a robust marketing plan and schedule is in place, oversee product quality control and guarantee retail items meet our sustainability criteria.

To play your part in helping save our world, you will have experience in purchasing, retail, or online trading. Comfortable navigating brand and design requirements, you will be familiar with product design and development processes and used to controlling budgets. You will possess sound knowledge of sustainability and ethical trading too. You will also have experience of using Photoshop, In Design or other design packages.

Your technical abilities will be complemented by excellent interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills. Good at building relationships, you will also be effective at coaching and developing others. Of course, you will be able to show a commitment to the natural world and WWF’s core mission.

If you are enthusiastic about making our world a better place through your work, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the link and apply via our website by submitting a copy of your up-to-date CV and Supporting Statement to highlight what makes you a good fit for us.

Application closing date : 28/01/2024
