As the Senior Risk and Controls Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of risk management policies and control strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in helping the company navigate through complex challenges and maintain its competitive edge in the market.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Risk and Controls Manager
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive Risk and control frameworks to mitigate financial risks and optimise operational efficiency
- Leading a team of Risk and control specialists, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to identify risk areas, assess controls, and implement enhancements to mitigate risks effectively
- Overseeing regulatory compliance efforts, staying up-to-date with evolving regulations and best practices
- Conducting regular risk assessments and control reviews to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Serving as a liaison between internal teams and external auditors, facilitating audits and addressing findings promptly and effectively
Key essentials of the Senior Risk and Controls Manager
- Qualified Accountant ACA or ACCA
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent leadership
