The Company

Reputable treasury and Risk Management consultancy requires an experienced Senior Risk Management Consultant. The business supports corporates and financial sponsors globally, and their offices are based in London, New York, and Singapore.

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for the role you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of seven years' experience developing interest and/or foreign exchange strategies.
• A detailed understanding of financial risks faced by a business and the ability deploy an appropriate risk strategy.
• In-depth knowledge of financial derivatives.
• Background in the banking sector with exposure to Corporate Treasury, coupled with consultancy experience.
• Proven experience managing Risk Management assignments.
• A track record in marketing business services to financial sponsors and portfolio companies.
• High level of quantitative/modelling experience.
• Ability to develop client relationships and develop analytical tools for multi-asset classes.
• Work with developers on bespoke analytical tools and enhance F/X hedging.

The Role

The role will include the following:

• Advise and support the business on Risk Management and hedge advisory strategies.
• Focus on Interest Rate and F/X exposures.
• Ensure project proposals are offered and delivered.
• Ability to build new sources of business through methodical and systematic business development practices within the local financial sponsor market, utilising the businesses relationships in Europe, US, and Asia.
• Responsible for maintaining relationships ensuring that the business is a trusted treasury advisor of choice for the financial sponsor.
• Key participant in the continued growth of the business.
• Work closely with other consultants on developing strategies, setting objectives, policies, and plans for targeting potential clients.
