Senior Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Scientist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 9 months.
Salary:
£200 per day PAYE or £264 per day via umbrella company
Senior Scientist Role:

• Responsible for the discovery and optimisation of biological candidate drugs to support drug discovery pipelines
• Responsible for cell-based assay with a focus on antibody internalization
• Interpret experimental results/data and maintain accurate, high quality and up-to-date experimental records

Your Background:

• Hold a PhD in a relevant scientific area or hold a BSc with equivalent working experience
• Hands on experience of a range of in-vitro cell based assays such as growth inhibition/toxicity assays, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence staining with high-content microscopy, internalization assays and flow cytometry
• A knowledge of cancer biology and targeted delivery systems would be a distinct advantage
