The Role:
Our client is recruiting for a Social Media Manager to join their Content Marketing and Acquisition teams. The primary focus of this role is to lead Social Media activities for various international sports betting and casino brands. Responsibilities include writing copy, designing assets, scheduling content, reporting, and editing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about digital sports and casino content on Social Media.
You will work closely with the Head of Content Marketing and the VP of Acquisition, developing Social Media content and strategy for several global sports betting and casino brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all company Social Media accounts.
- Develop engaging, creative, and innovative content for regular posts that enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
- Coordinate Social Media messaging with wider departments (brand, acquisition, etc.).
- Manage team members, including copywriters and other content creators, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
- Audit and analyse Social Media presence, including digital advertising costs and returns.
- Report on Social Media campaigns using analytics software.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop Social Media timelines in line with business objectives, new product releases, ad campaigns, and other brand messages.
- Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within Social Media spaces.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing Social Media strategies (essential).
- Excellent writing skills and impeccable grammar (essential).
- Willingness to work evenings when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills (essential).
- Keen eye for detail (essential).
- Experience in translation and localization (essential).
- Understanding of Social Media marketing techniques (desirable).
- Experience in the sports betting/gambling industry (desirable).
- Interest in sports and casino (advantageous).
- Experience with META (required).
- Bilingual (German/French/Italian/Spanish) (desirable).
