A Stealth Startup, spun-out from a leading firm, is on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer to join and help lead their brand new team. The mission? To craft a state-of-the-art rules engine using algorithmic development, initially mirroring their current system, then expanding to tackle a myriad of legal challenges in tax law and beyond.

The Project:

You'll be at the heart of a groundbreaking project, tasked with developing a Rules Engine using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS. This platform is not just about coding; it's about creating a user-centric, responsive web application of a Legal tech rules engine.

The Role:

• Lead backend development of a rules engine using TypeScript
• Collaborate with the CTO to design the overall front and backend architecture.
• Play a part in building the development team which will include leading and supporting a Frontend Developer and 2 Junior Full Stack Developers
• Embrace the full development lifecycle, prioritising high-quality code and user experience.
• Stay ahead of the tech curve, bringing innovative ideas to the forefront of our platform.

We Need You To Have:

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js and AWS
• A solid understanding of modern development practices.
• Experience in agile development and a commitment to secure coding practices.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort in a digital, remote working environment.
