Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation with various locations in Staffordshire, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager for as soon as possible for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £36.01/hour PAYE, equivalent to £70,417 per annum. This role will be hybrid working with 3 days on site in either Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford.
Essential Skills:
- Experience of managing a team, leading on complex, high value contracts and tenders
- Public Sector Procurement experience
- Experience dealing with very senior organisational stakeholders
- Experience of management multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder complex projects
- Able to prepare, lead and manage Public Contract Regulations 2015 processes and associated documentation
- Excellent supplier stakeholder management and engagement skills
- CIPS qualification preferred but not essential
- Able to successfully lead a complex procurement project across an ICS
- Knowledge and experience of conducting a competitive exercise via a nationally approved framework
- Ability to provide detailed feedback and reports to senior stakeholders
- Experience of project managing a complex, high value PCR procurement exercise
