What Will You Do?
As a Senior Supplier Quality Inspectorworking on Electric Vehicles (EV), you will be a key part of the puzzle, undertaking inspections and ensuring resources are deployed effectively, liaising with key stakeholders and suppliers, and supporting visits and audits when required. You will encounter and inspect new, cutting-edge components and parts that will be implemented in a range of futuristic vehicles.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Supplier Quality Inspector
- Provide leadership to the supplier inspection quality team.
- Report non-conformance on fabricated structures and drive corrective change.
- Be the first point of contact for production.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve issues regarding supplied parts.
- Promote a zero-tolerance culture regarding potential defects.
The Ideal Candidate Would Have
- Experience in CMM operation and programming, and experience in non-destructive weld testing and inspections.
- Project management skills
- Qualifications / experience of ISO 9001, IAFT/16949, BS EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001
- Lead audit qualification / experience.
- Motivation and, flexibility and a positive attitude.
