Senior Supply Chain & Contract Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Supply Chain & Contract Manager to lead our procurement team and oversee strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain management, procurement processes, and contract management, coupled with a proven track record of success in driving operational efficiency and achieving cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Set strategy for the Supply Chain & Contract team, managing spend multi million £ spend across various service categories.
Provide sound commercial advice and solutions to support business objectives.
Work collaboratively across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver optimal business results and share best practices.
Supplier Management and Contract Negotiation:
Manage supplier contracts, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract negotiation across multiple categories.
Develop and nurture strong supplier relationships to achieve the best overall operational and commercial arrangements for the business.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations throughout the procurement process.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational resilience and service delivery.
Lead change strategies to cope with fluctuations in service delivery and improve overall efficiency.
Drive operational excellence through the development and execution of new services and initiatives.
Bid Management and Business Development:
Collaborate closely with business development and bid teams to design, develop, and deliver strategic plans for all bids within the scope of responsibility.
Play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities, including Functional Assessment Service, Access to Work Holistic Assessments, integrated lifestyle solution contracts, and others.
Lead cross-functional teams on ‘make or buy’ strategies, resource planning, and Supply Chain relationship management to ensure commercially sound contracting arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree level education or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Senior Supply Chain and procurement management roles.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
Track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving cost-effective solutions.
Experience in managing large supplier contracts and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant procurement tools.
