Senior Support Worker Your new company:
We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, and outgoing Senior Support Workers to join our team of qualified staff. We provide support to children in a residential setting, helping to provide a safe and homely environment. It is important to us that we build and maintain trust with the people we support, whilst promoting their rights, interests, and dignity.
Your new role:
The role will consist of supporting with the delivery of care to children with a range of personalities and needs. You will be involved in supporting the everyday routines of the residents and ensuring the psychological needs of each individual are met. This will include taking the residents out into the community to complete activities such as bowling, cinema trips or eating out, allowing you to build strong relationships and self-esteem. Typical shifts will be long or short days, sleep-ins, but there are no wakeful nights for this role.
What you will need to succeed:
You will need to have previous experience in a residential setting, have a QCF Level 3 with adults or Children and young people. You must also be committed to under-taking all pre-employment training and have a desire to further your career by gaining further qualifications. It is important that you work effectively as part of the team to provide the best service we can to the people we support. Driving is essential for this role.
