Senior Support Worker - Greater Manchester - Permanent - Full Time - £25,550 - £27,650 + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Support Worker to join a local organisation supporting children and Young People with a variety of needs and to support their families.

You will be be working in the community and in the Young Peoples homes to support the vulnerable Young People and their families to support them to independence and guide them on their journey to adulthood.

The children and Young People have a variety of needs, Emotional Behavioural Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Complex needs.

You will be responsible for the safe running of the Young People and their day to day lives. You will be responsible for performing above and beyond the organisational policies and procedures and adhering to the national minimum standards of operation and legislative frameworks with your support to those vulnerable children and their families.

You will be personable, kind, supportive and encouraging to develop new skills and enhance new ones with the children and Young People.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a support for those in need and their families, you will be there to make the positive differences they need.
You will need -

You will have a minimum NVQ level 3-4 in children and Young People or equivalent

Proven background working with children and Young People especially with Emotional Behavioural Disorders
