We are looking for a dynamic Senior Support Worker to join our client and provide their children with a safe, supportive and nurturing environment while being a consistent role model in their lives.
As a childcare specialist recruitment agency, our clients work with children who can display challenging behaviour and present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, learning disability and autism. A therapeutic approach, based on DDP and PACE, and putting the children at the centre of decisions, are integral to what they do.
You will work with a team of Support Workers, providing day-to-day support, guidance, and be accountable for their performance. Also, carrying out the duties of a Support Worker to an exemplary standard.
What experience or qualifications do I need?
- At least one year experience in a residential childcare setting.
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
