The starting salary for this position is £27,897 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
We are excited to be hiring a new Senior Team Administrator primarily to provide notetaking support and back up administration at Surrey's Fostering Panels.
This varied and interesting role is based in our Reigate office within our exemplary business support service. The role is offered on a hybrid-working basis with the expectation that you will be in the office at least two days a week. Whilst the role is based at our Reigate office you may be required to travel to other Surrey offices to facilitate minute taking at fostering panels.

About the Team
The Children, Families and Learning directorate provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups.
This role is based within our outstanding business support service, which underpins the work of the frontline practitioners. This role will work with the Fostering Service, supporting the recruitment and retention of Foster Carers in Surrey.
About the Role
As a Senior Team Administrator your role will be to support fostering panels, taking meeting notes and subsequently distributing to involved parties and processing outcomes, ensuring timescales are met. You will work closely with the Panel Advisor, Chair and other professionals to ensure that fostering panels run smoothly, whether in person or via Microsoft Teams.
Shortlisting Criteria
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication skills. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be highly organised and willing to take responsibility, as well as using initiative.

- Evidence of efficient and accurate note taking skills using a laptop
- A solid background in administration and experience of working in a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident, organised, and able to implement a proactive approach to your work
