Form of workAbout the roleHeres an opportunity to take a lead role in developing and delivering Model Monitoring across our Internal Ratings Based (IRB) and Expected Credit Loss (IFRS9) frameworks. This is a technical post, with no line management responsibility, and forms part of the measurements area of credit risk.Key responsibilities include in-depth technical interpretation of the requirements and regulations associated with IRB and IFRS9, as well as mentoring the team and supporting management with planning and strategy.It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure that all monitoring requirements are met, with reports to senior committees as appropriate.Hours : 35, Mon-FriLocation : Coventry, Hybrid (At least one day p/w on site)Advert closing date : 23rd January 2023Benefits include:

About youWere looking for someone who has worked in a Credit Risk environment for at least two years. You must be highly numerate, with a full understanding of the statistical tools used to monitor credit models.With excellent communication skills, youll be comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders, including our external auditors, and demonstrate a sound knowledge of all relevant regulations and accounting standards, as well as SAS Enterprise Guide and/or SAS Base or equivalent.Adept at presenting complex data and information, translating report outputs into actionable insights for leadership teams will be well within your skillset.Prior exposure to the monitoring of IRB and IFRS9 models would be a significant advantage, as would Financial Services and Scorecard experience.About usAs a mutual, weve always worked together to improve the lives of others.
