Job description

The School of Medicine, University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Senior Research Technician to join the Digital Cancer Screening Research Group in Translational Medical Sciences.
This role will provide specialist digital technical support to the Digital Cancer Screening Research Group, planning and overseeing the day-to-day running of studies, allocating resources, and providing technical supervision and training in the use of equipment and techniques. It requires the use of specialist knowledge and skills to development techniques and processes that will provide support and guidance for research projects in Digital Screening and Artificial Intelligence. The role will assist senior colleagues in the development of computer science, digital laboratory techniques and processes utilising your skills and knowledge. The role holder will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
The role is available on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. Hours of work are part-time (21.75 hours per week). This role is based at the Clinical Sciences Building, City Hospital Campus.
