We are currently recruiting for a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic to join the theatre team at a prestigious private healthcare provider in the London area

The main duties of the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic role include:
- Ensure the safe and high-quality care of patients throughout their peri-operative care phase.
- Assist in managing and organizing care within the operating department while offering support and coordination.
- Guarantee top-notch planned patient care during the peri-operative phase by providing effective clinical and managerial guidance to the team.
- Take charge of delivering patient care during specified timeframes or surgical lists.
- Oversee adherence to patient safety protocols as per policy among all practitioners.
- Contribute actively to enhancing quality standards.
- Foster the development of skills and knowledge in both oneself and others.
- Advocate for the implementation of best evidence-based practices within the given scope.
- Accurately apply legislation, policies, and procedures.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant certification after registration.
- Completion of ENB 998 and/or mentorship training.
- Accredited anaesthetic course certification.
- ILS (Immediate Life Support) certification.
- Proficiency in orthopaedic skills.
- Qualification in mentorship.
- Attainment of ILM Level 3 certification.
- Past involvement in an acute healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in managing and leading clinical teams
