Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics - Full Time - Up to £44,000 - Fantastic Private Hospital - Kingston upon Thames

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics. The ideal candidate should possess a suitable level of previous Anaesthetic Theatre experience, along with excellent time management and communication skills.
Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced patient care with minimal supervision.
• Develop specialized clinical skills.
• Promote research-based nursing and clinical practices.
• Evaluate care outcomes for a patient list.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing team care in the operating room.
• Contribute to the development and updating of theatre nursing procedures and policies.
• Address issues at the theatre level.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other teams.
• Identify and report clinical risks.
• Support others through reflection and learning.
Senior Theatre Practitioner Requirements:
• Sound knowledge of anaesthetic practice in various specialties.
• Understanding of role expectations.
• Minimum 4 years post-registration experience in anaesthetics.
• Experience in a wide range of specialties, including emergencies.
• Experience with pediatric anaesthetics.
• Recovery or scrub experience (desirable).
• Management experience (desirable).
Senior Theatre Practitioner Qualifications:
• RGN/ODP.
• Recognized perioperative course completion.
• Recognized teaching and assessing qualification (desirable).
• ILS certification (desirable).
• PILS certification (desirable).
• Research awareness (desirable).
Skills and Aptitude:
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Methodical and logical approach.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• IT proficiency.
