Due to continued success this transport company have a newly created role for a Transport Planner, based at either Craigavon or Coleraine.
Your new role
Sun -Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Fri & Sat OFF37.5 hrs per week
- Plan and manage drivers and vehicles to allocated routes and loads.
- Programme and schedule orders for delivery
- Distribute daily instructions to drivers
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure maximum use of resources and cost efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience within a Transport department, in a high volume/turnover business.
- Demonstrable experience with route planning software for example: Roadnet, Paragon, or Max Optra.
- Considerable demonstrable experience with planning software
- Excellent communication skills
