You’ll manage the end-to-end research activities including planning, execution, analysis and insight delivery. Location: Kings Cross, London or Portsmouth, Hampshire. Hybrid working applies.
Where do you fit in?
Our mission is to be the trusted foundation of every home by connecting people with the trades and tools to make home improvements easy. Reporting to the Lead UX Researcher, you’ll maintain and develop the company’s in-house research facility. You’ll take a pragmatic approach to delivering research, and always choosing the right tools for the job! You'll work closely with product and development colleagues advocating for users and incorporating the wider business goals. You'll increase shared understanding of customer behaviours through online experiments (A/B testing), benchmark studies, lab studies, surveys and more! You’ll be customer-obsessed – always – identifying and cultivating advocacy to pull on testimonials, case studies and referrals. If you have a passion for tech, then we’d love to hear from you

What do you need to succeed?
- Significant experience as an influential User Researcher with a proven track record of leading and delivering research.
- Ability to provide actionable insight into complex problems.
- Strong experience with generative and evaluative research.
- Ability to identify research opportunities and fully scope out the studies.
- Solid presentation skills, and experience communicating user-centred research findings to a large number of stakeholders in a persuasively and engagingly.
- Building and maintaining a research repository.
- Outstanding presentation skills and delivering findings to stakeholders across the business.
- You'll work on complex problems, taking a pragmatic approach to delivering research and always choosing the right tools for the job.
- You'll increase shared understanding of customer behaviours through interviews, surveys, online experiments and more!
