Due to growth of the IT dept, they are on the hunt for a Windows Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of the Windows-based infrastructure. The responsibilities will be to oversee day-to-day operations of Windows servers, performance, and various projects around migration & Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Windows servers, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the Windows environment.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows servers and network.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications/Knowledge
- Proven experience working as a Windows Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in administering Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012/2016/2019).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows server services.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Understanding of cloud Technology Azure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
