Salary- Service Assurance Analyst
- Manchester - Hybrid working
- £36k - £44k (can go higher depending on experience)
Our client is currently on the lookout for a Service Assurance Analyst to work within their Service Design and Transition team to provide reliable and effective IT services to the organisation. The purpose of this role is to ensure that new and changed services are consistently designed and transition in line with the IT Strategy, and that they meet current and future customer requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with key ITIL processes in respect of Service Design and Transition
- Ensure that wider processes within Service Operations are reviewed and updated as applicable
- Contribute to the development of all standard Service Design & Transition Procedures, Artefacts and Templates
- Undertaking structure reviews of technical design documentation, business cases, architectural artefacts and other key related documentation
- Identify improvement opportunities making recommendations for progression in line with defined business outcomes
- Define and document Non-Functional Requirements to ensure that new or change service and products meet the requirements of the University
- Work with stakeholders to successfully onboard all new and changed solutions delivered into the production environment
The following skills and experience will be beneficial for the role:
- Proven experience of co-ordinating/managing Service Design and Service Transition activities for new and changed services
- Establishing relationships, analysing perspectives and managing stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines
- A demonstrable understanding of Availability Management, Capacity Management and Information and Governance
- Understanding of ITIL
- Experience of project delivery and working within a governance framework
