Service Charge Accountant

As a Service Charge Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting related to Service charges, supporting our Finance Team, and contributing to our overall financial integrity.
Your new role
The Service Charge Accountant is primarily responsible for the timely production of Service charge accounts, monthly reporting (including accruals and prepayments), and managing the Section 20b process and client money handling.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need the experience below:

• MRI Qube systems knowledge and experience
• Experience working within a finance team in the property sector
• Analysing and interpreting financial reports
• Studying for an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
• Intermediate Excel knowledge, including basic formulas, V-lookups, and pivot tables
• Experience in accruals-based accounting
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Solution-driven and forward-thinking mindset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial role
• Fully office based
