Service Charge Accountant - St Albans
Salary £35,000 - £40,000- Experience dependant
Monday - Friday - 8:45 - 5pm
Hybrid working available 2 days a week
Our client is a long established sales and lettings Estate Agents with an impeccable reputation. They are experts in their field and are recognised for their professionalism and knowledge of the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Entering and paying supplier invoices
- Raising and issuing Service Charge and ground rent demands
- Receiving and allocating Service Charge and ground rent income
- Reconciling the bank statements monthly
- Leaseholder arrears chasing
- Preparation of quarterly management fees
- Preparation of the year-end financial packs
- Preparation of quarterly reporting to clients
- Preparation of draft budgets for Block Manager / Client input
- Dealing with leaseholder and client account related enquiries
- Leaseholder and supplier reconciliation when required
- Maintaining client information on Companies House
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Service Charge accounting
- Management Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritise own workload
- Exceptional communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Use initiative and be proactive
- Keen to learn and progress
- Strong Excel skills
