Competitive Salary

Hours: 35 hours per week, 9-5 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch per day.

Location: Based in their Hurst, Reading Office

The Role

The Client Account Manager / Service Charge Accountant is primarily responsible for the delivery of all accounts information. This role involves direct correspondence and liaison with the Client/Freeholder and Leaseholders and reporting to the client as and when required. On a day to day basis you can expect to be:

• Involved in the preparation of Service Charge Accounts for the our clients property portfolio. This includes all stages, from bank reconciliation all the way through to trial balance and financial statements.
• Ensure Service Charge and Ground Rent demands have been served at the correct times and in accordance with the Lease/Transfer documentation.
• Ensure that a diary is created after each billing to ensure that the credit control process can commence in a timely manner.
• Keep property information/data up to date within the system. This will include setting up developments on the system, from property level to budgets and apportionments. Also assigning the account to new owners when the property is sold.
