Job description

Profile

The client is a well established engineering company, who is looking to bring a Service Coordinator who they can develop. They are looking to welcome someone who will take on the role of orchestrating, planning, and optimizing a team of four to seven engineers.

What Your Role Will Be

  • Smooth scheduling of Preventative Maintenance visits.
  • Timely coordination of Reactive Calls & Revisits when needed.
  • Effective scheduling of Remedial Works post PPM & Reactive visits.
  • Seamless communication with customers and engineers to enhance scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Handling initial customer calls, swiftly resolving queries and setting a tone of superior service.
  • Precise appointment booking in line with company procedures, optimizing engineer efficiency.
  • Consistent achievement of customer KPIs; if challenges arise, timely liaison with customers to find solutions.
  • Collaborative management of national and key accounts across teams and regions.
  • Professional handling of engineering data from handheld devices, ensuring compliance.
  • Efficient management of sub-contractors, ensuring adherence to company standards and timely service delivery.
  • Generation of subcontract orders following established protocols.
  • Contribution to maintaining the service management database.
  • Accurate tracking of work completion and reporting from Engineers, supporting other departments as needed.

  • Ability to resolve customer related issues.
  • Ability to understand and act on KPI information – numeracy essential.
  • Ability to work as a positive team member.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Must excel in delivering quality customer service and exceeding the customers’ expectations every time.
  • IT literate (word, excel and outlook).
  • Calm, resilient and flexible with experience in a fast-paced service environment.
