Service Coordinator

Due to expansion our client based in Wellingborough is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator. This role will be responsible for helping to manage the day to day operations of the Service Desk and ensuring that customers receive prompt and efficient support for their technical issues and enquiries.  You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth function of this Scientific Support Business.
As the Service Coordinator you will be:

• Planning and maintaining online diaries for field based Service Engineers
• Managing planned maintenance activities
• Acting as a first point of call for all customer queries and logging these on the system
• Maintaining all service related documentation
• Providing reports and recommendations for processes and continuous improvement

As the Service Coordinator you will have:

• An understanding of planning tools and procedures
• A good understanding of CRM systems and service planning platforms
• Experience in coordinating a team of engineers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and meat deadlines.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments and techniques would be an advantage
