Copello are recruiting a Service Delivery Manager to join an Defence Services business, based in Yeovilton.
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will act as lead representative for the business, at various Service Delivery Sites and associated satellite locations, in accordance with site requirements.
The role is to lead the Operations Maintenance Personnel in ensuring that all aspects of UK Service Operations Delivery are carried out safely in accordance with all current MOD and Government legislative regulations to achieve the maximum equipment availability and avoidance of Service Penalties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent managerial experience, ability to manage and lead a team.
- Air traffic management knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in Resource and Budget Management.
- Experience in maintenance planning and coordination in a highly regulated environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deputising for the Head of UK Operations (when unavailable/during leave periods) as required at relevant meetings, producing and presenting monthly information packs to key stakeholders.
- Representing UK Operations at the MOD Performance Enabling and the Service Delivery Group meetings.
- Responsible for the failure trend analysis of the technical services in their area of responsibility.
- The management of Technical Service availability through the role of National Incident Manager for Out of Hours Incident Escalation Support.
- The management of the Technical Service availability for Critical Support Task applications for their area of responsibility.
- Will undertake on-call duties, to ensure the availability of the temporary technical and technical services, on a rostered routine.
- The SDM shall hold managerial responsibilities for all H&S, Risk, Quality, Environmental Protection and associated process within their operating area including, but not limited to:
- Radiation Protection
- Personal Protection Equipment
- Risk and Environmental Protection Assessments
- COSHH
- Engineering Standards and Practices
- Logistic Support
- Security
- Magnetic Media Control and Configuration
- Time Sheet Compilation/Accuracy
- Work Order Completion/Accuracy
- Local Site Publications/Information Currency
- Ensuring all approved and authorised change activities are safely managed and implemented
This role is is based in Yeovil and offers a salary of up to 60K plus a 10% oncall bonus ( approximately 1 in every 5 weekends).
