We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to have significant input and responsibility in supporting and improving these services to the NHS and ultimately their patients.
We are seeking a Service Delivery Manager based at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. The Service Delivery Manager will assist with the day-to-day management of the on-site team, daily activities and the successful delivery of the managed service being provided us. Along with the team of on-site coordinators, they will be expected to monitor the ordering of consumables and the receipt of information to ensure that procedures are not postponed due to a quality failure, thus avoiding service credits. They will also support and assist the Regional Service Delivery Manager (RSDM) and other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as required and requested.
Key Accountabilities
- To support the Regional Service Delivery Manager in the effective delivery of the managed services at the Trust and day-to-day service management.
- To proactively manage the subcontractors.
- To proactively and effectively manage the team of on-site coordinator's with support from the RSDM where required.
- To represent and promote managed services efficiency and the corporate values at the customer site.
- To ensure that all stock is distributed and shelved in a timely manner from delivery
- To ensure that all purchase orders placed by are authorised in accordance with Trust requirements and that all procedures are adhered to.
- To train and support Trust staff in the use of systems
- To adhere to the reporting system and processes and to effectively manage exceptions
- To liaise and communicate effectively with supplier and sub-contractor staff
- To liaise and communicate effectively with staff
- To provide support to all wards, theatres (pre and post-op) with administration and purchasing
